Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing

This vinaigrette contains no oil so it can be used as a dressing over your favorite salad or as a sauce for fruit, custards, or desserts. Bursting with fresh strawberries, it’s especially refreshing during those hot summer months! With just a few simple ingredients, it’s so easy to make and can be stored in the refrigerator for several weeks. I’ve stored it for over a month, myself, as the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar helps to preserve the freshness.

During the summer months, you can always find great deals on strawberries at one of the many local farmers markets. Of course, store-bought is fine too, but there’s just something about fresh picked produce that hasn’t been sitting around in crates and stored for who knows how long.

And kudos to you if you’re one of those lucky enough to be successful at growing your own strawberries! That’s something I personally, haven’t mastered yet.

When making this dressing, I use stevia or monkfruit but you can use any of your favorite sweeteners or even sugar if you prefer. Any of the ingredients can be adjusted to suit your own individual taste, and you can also adjust the amount of water to make it as thick or as thin as you want, regarding the consistency.

It’s so versatile! Try it over sliced bananas or as a topping over ice cream. Comment below and let me know all the ways you’ve used! And don’t forget to rate it. Enjoy!
